The Canada 2 sits at a fine line unflexed and opens past 6x to a 4B swell under moderate pressure. You can run it as a plain daily fine and pull the variation out only when you want it, the controlled flex Canadian 2's are known for.

Waterman Canada built its pens at St. Lambert, and the Canadian side ran celluloid earlier and in more colors than the US line did. The model code goes 3 for the economy celluloid series introduced in 1929, 2 for the #2 nib, V for vest-pocket, the short format; capped it's under 11cm, posted it's a full-length writer. The Made in Canada imprints are perfect, deep and sharp, which matters at this age because polishing usually eats the imprints first.

Graded C, all parts original. There are deeper marks at the end of the barrel; you won't catch them face on, but hold the pen at an angle to the light and they will show. A fresh silicone sac is fitted, the right pairing under celluloid nitrate since it won't off-gas inside the barrel, and it opens the pen to any ink you like. Store it nib-up, since silicone can let ink creep toward the feed.

Tested on Tomoe River 68gsm White with Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black.
